We specialise in smaller, more intimate weddings, catering for a maximum of 70 people. We can help you arrange everything down to the finest detail, to ensure that you have a day to remember forever.

Civil Unions
As for weddings Auckland's Waitakere Estate is also the perfect destination for Civil Unions. We can also assist with registered Civil Union celebrants.

Ceremony Options
Auckland’s Waitakere Estate provides options for indoor and outdoor weddings and civil unions. Options include a ceremony in the landscaped gardens among a “cathedral” of large native trees with gorgeous bird song in the background. 

Another option is an indoor ceremony in our quaint on-site chapel set beneath a large kauri tree. Alternatively, we have our spacious lounge with its magnificent scoria fireplace and elegant furnishings.

After the ceremony our waiting staff will circulate with champagne and canapés of your choice, while you take advantage of the extensive grounds with our spectacular gardens and architecture for your exclusive on-site photo shoot.

Receptions
Depending on the number of guests, we have a range of rooms available for family and friends to stay. All rooms have expansive views of the surrounding bush and the sparkling city beyond. Waitakere Estate, Auckland is the perfect setting for your elegant reception. Mingle in the gardens and enjoy fine cuisine, your entertainment and the romantic city lights in the evening.

Accommodation Packages
Invite your friends and family to stay at the hotel during your wedding celebration -we offer special package rates for wedding guests.

Accommodation and a delicious cooked breakfast - only $265 on a double/twin share occupancy basis and $242.50 per person for a single occupancy
(valid for weddings held 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2010)

We have 17 rooms and can accommodate a maximum of 37 guests.

Exclusive Use
The entire estate can be made available for your exclusive use if you wish. Pricing and packages are available on request, please contact us for further information as to how we can help you.
