The Rain Forest Express Ride
The Rain Forest Express will take you into the heart of the Waitakere water catchment area. This scenic train ride features 10 tunnels and 9 Bridges including the spectacular Quinns Viaduct.
Golf
A number of golf courses are located within 20 minutes drive of Waitakere Estate. These include the Titirangi Golf Course re-designed by internationally known Dr Alister MacKenzie and the very scenic Waitakere Golf course. For further details please see our reception staff.
Wine Tour
Tours of the local West Auckland vineyards can be arranged with Auckland's Waitakere Estate's own guided wine tours for groups of three or more persons. These tours include a guide with considerable knowledge of the local vineyards. Self drive tours of the vineyards can also be done based on a wine trail map available at the Estate.
West Coast Beaches
The spectacular West Coast beaches including Piha, Karekare, Bethels and Muriwai are close by and are definitely worth the very scenic drive.
Bush and Beach Tour with Auckland's Waitakere Estate
